La froideur extrême de la glace explose en paralysant les obédiences tout autour de Flocon de neige. Les particules de glace pénètrent dans la matière jusqu'à atteindre le point de température extrême de cassure. Les os des obédiences ne résistent pas aux chocs thermiques. La dislocation des squelettes de chaque obédience est fulgurante. Malgré que le pouvoir de glace a eu un effet instantané sur Rinoféroce en le paralysant, l'énergie provenant de la pierre de magma de ce dernier se consume. Figé dans une stèle de glace, le pouvoir du feu est sur le point de le libèrer de cette froideur paralysante. Surpris par la vitesse de récupération de Rinoféroce, Flocon de neige redoute la contre-attaque du destructeur.

Aux alentours du précipice du gouffre de l'enfer, le déploiement offensive des technodrônes encercle les hordes d'obédiences qui remontent à la surface. En réponse aux signaux de détresse lancés par Ylo, les technodrônes quadrillent la zone dangereuse. Les tirs incessants provenant de toutes les directions atteignent les obédiences en les disloquant.

Devant les portes grandes ouvertes du monde souterrain, Ylo est attiré comme enivré par les émanations provenant de l'entre. Que se passe-t-il dans la tête de Ylo à ce moment là lorsqu'il commence à courir à toute vitesse vers les portes du monde souterrain. En fonçant dans la "gueule du monstre", Ylo saute et esquive les os tombant sur sa route. Le geste inexplicable de Ylo jette un froid.
