Tout semble irréel lorsque le chronomaître gagne une bataille inattendue contre Rinoféroce. Le sang, qui irrigue son être, représente l'irrémédiable antidote permettant la guérisson des obédiences. C'est que la phase de régénération ne peut être complêtée que, si et seulement si, les créatures maléfiques sont de chair et de sang. Parmi les obédiences, la tentation du sang a toujours été présent comme une soif inassouvie. Alors que Ruben s'apitoyait sur le sort du chronomaître, ce dernier fomentait, dans l'ombre, son grand retour parmi les redoutables guerriers du monde. Devant l'importance des enjeux de la guerre universelle, Ruben a perdu ses nerfs en se destituant de son rôle endosé de guide. L'horde d'obédiences ne le suive plus. C'est que les agissements douteux des obédiences avaient alerté, quelque peu, la vigilance de l'homme qui sentait progressivement la perte de son emprise sur eux. Mais, tout semble être vu avec clairvoyance, à travers les yeux ulcérés de Ruben, lorsque l'un des obédiences livre solennelement la hâche de la guerre au chronomaître. À l'approche d'un combat imminent, Rinoféroce fait signe à Ruben de s'écarter du danger comme si les rôles venaient d'être redistribués. L'hostilité grandissante des obédiences force les pas de Ruben jusqu'à l'autre monde. Au péril de sa vie, Ruben est obligé de briser les codes du cercle du feu comme si sa place n'était plus dans le monde souterrain. Profitant de cet instant de rivalité entre le chronomaître et Rinoféroce, Ruben s'apprête à rejoindre les Hommes.

En esquivant, tour à tour, les assauts des obédiences, Ruben s'introduit de force à l'intérieur de la porte de l'antre du chronomaître. En quittant l'impasse, Ruben se libère de ce sentiment indescriptible où il se sentait compressé de tout son être. À ce moment précis, Ruben entend, derrière lui, les violents coups de hâche donnés par le chronomaître. C'est l'émotion qui le submerge lorsqu'il atteint finalement totalement épuisé l'endroit où reposait la salamandre de feu. Comme un événement cauchemardesque auquel il regrette déjà l'issue, Ruben fond en larmes. Le réconfort de la salamandre de feu ne suffit pas à calmer ce sentiment d'abandon qui dévore Ruben vivant.

Pendant ce temps, les oeufs des mères pondeuses éclosent à un moment où les premiers actes de guerre sont déclarés dans le monde. C'est un signe qu'un nouveau jour est arrivé, impulsé par les animaux sacrés. En faisant trembler les terres de la contrée lointaine, le grand protecteur du règne des dragons gagne sa place parmi les guerriers redoutables du monde.

Everyhting seems unreal when the chronomaster is winning an unexpected battle over Rinoferoce. The blood, that irrigates his being, represents the irremediable antidote allowing the healing of the allegiances. It's that the phase of regeneration cannot be completed if and only if the malefic creatures are made with flesh and blood. Among the allegiances, the temptation of the blood is existing as an unappeased thirst. While Ruben was commiserated with the chronomaster, this last one fomented, in the darkness, his comeback among the dreadful warriors of the world. In front of the importance of the stakes of the universal war, Ruben is loosing his nerves in removing himself from his endorsed duties of the guide. The horde of the allegiances doesn't follow him anymore. It's that the doubting actions of the allegiances had warned, somewhat, the vigilance of the man who felt progressively the loss of his control over them. But, eveything seems to be seen with clear-sightedness, throught the ulcerated eyes of Ruben, when one of the allegiances is solemnly delivering to the chronomaster the ax of the war, the hatchet. Close to the imminent fight, Rinoferoce is waving in the direction of Ruben in order to prevent him from the danger as if the roles were newly redistributed. The growing hostility of the allegiances is forcing the footsteps of Ruben till reaching the other world. In peril of his life, Ruben is forced to break the rules of the fire circle as if his place wasn't anymore in the underworld. By enjoying this moment of rivalry between the chronomaster and Rinoferoce, Ruben is ready to join the mankind.

Ruben : The speeches of the chronomaster are telling the truth. Ylo is alive !

In dodging, by turns, the assaults of the allegiances, Ruben is forcing one's way through the inside of the door of the cave of the chronomaster. In leaving the blind alley, Ruben is liberating himself from this indescribable feeling when he felt compressed from all his being, at this precise moments, Ruben is hearing, behind him, the scattering strokes of ax given by the chronomaster. It's the emotion that submerges him when he is finally reaching totally exhausted the place where was lying in wait the fire salamander. As a nighmarish event to which he already regrets the issue, Ruben is bursting in tears. The comfort of the fire salamander is not enough to calm down this feeling of abandonment that devores Ruben alive.

Meanwhile, the eggs of the laying mothers are hatched out at a moment when the first acts of war are declared in the world. It's a sign that a new day has come, impulsed by the sacred animals. In making the grounds of the far away land shaking, the grand protector of the reign of the dragons is earning his place among the dreadful warriors of the world.
