À la frontière entre les deux batailles, il n'y a qu'un pas que les diluviens décident, en dépit de tout, de gravir à cause de l'anéantissement total de leur monde. Alors que les diluviens, qui se liguent aux Hommes pour ne pas voir éteindre leur espèce, se préparent au durcissement de la guerre universelle, les choses se compliquent dramatiquement à la surface. Jamais les diluviens avaient posé les pieds sur ces terres inconnues. Depuis les profondeurs abyssales, l'assassin, qui profite de ce moment de chaos, assiste à l'exode inattendue des diluviens en savourant sa victoire. Au pied du "mystère" entourant le mécanisme des eaux, l'assassin, qui continue sa quête pour la vérité, tente de percer les secrets des diluviens avant que l'obédience supérieure n'anéantisse tout.

Pendant ce temps, Rinoféroce, qui écoute les chants morbides des obédiences à travers les orgues du monde souterrain, s'invite dans la bataille en empruntant, tout comme l'Éminence puissance, en obliquant brusquement du monde souterrain à l'autre monde. C'est alors que tous ressentent que les batailles se confondent en une grande bataille dont l'étendue dépasse toutes les frontières. Sur le rocher issu d'une partie du géant de magma où naissent des créatures enrochées, L'Éminence puissance apparaît flamboyant. Les flammes en feu, qui tournoyent tout autour de lui, montrent une puissance inégalée. Les flammes en feu, qui se reflétent sur l'armure de Rinoféroce fendue par les coups de hâche du chronomaître, font apparaître, devant leurs yeux, le visage de Ruben face au défi de l'humanité. At the boundary between the both battles, there is a step that the diluvians are deciding, despite everything, to climb becquse of the total destruction of their world. While the diluvians that are in league with the mankind in order to not see their species extinguish, are preparing themselves to the hardening of the universal war, the things are getting complicated dramatically à la surface. Never ever the diluvians have trodden on these unknown lands. From the abyssal depths, the assassin, who is taking advantage of this moment of chaos, is assisting to the unexpected exodus of the diluvians in savouring his victory. At the foot of the "mystery" shrouding te mecanisms of the waters, the assassin, who is continuing his quest for the truth, is attempting to pierce the secrets of the diluvians before that the superior allegiance is destroying everything.

Between-whiles, Rinoferoce, who is listening morbid singings of the allegiances through the organs of the underworld, is inviting himself in the battle in taking, as for the Eminence puissance, in moving abruptly in an oblique direction from the underworld to the other world. The fire flames, that are reflecting on the armour of Rinoferoce splitted by the hatchet's hits of the chronomaster, make appear, in front of their eyes, the face of Ruben facing the challenge of the humanity. In front of the unexpected cross-road that leads to the mysterious artefacts, the Eminence puissance is feeling a sensation to which he has never ever forgotten. The roarings of the lion are tragically distinguishing from the surroundings noises. It's then that he is taking Rinoferoce into his frightening war plans.
