L'opprobre des dieux V / The disgrace of the gods V

Les espiègles Beffroi et Palefroi épiant lointainement la venue impromptue des salamandres, dans la gorge de ce monde souterrain à l'intérieur de laquelle des dionées voraces s'animant soudainement grimpent jusqu'au passage voûté, en rapetissant ce passage frayé, qui sont totalement subjugués par ce spectacle rare et vivifiant, n'annoncent guère, comme à leur habitude, le glas. Jusque-là, Beffroi et Palefroi, qui n'avaient guère connu une telle agitation, à l'intérieur de cette gorge du monde souterrain, séjournaient dans ce lit pierreux, qu'il les ravissaient. Malheureusement, l'appel soudain de l'obscurité, où de nouvelles perspectives et de nouveaux dangers se précisent grièvement, résonne, tel un refrain entêtant, dans les têtes de ces petites créatures des mondes souterrains. Alors que l'obscurité grandissante poigne dans ce monde souterrain, les yeux écarquillés de Beffroi et Palefroi, qui languissent, parviennent, soudain, à silhouetter ces passeurs des mondes souterrains de malheur.  Les regards des autres petites créatures du monde souterrain en disent longs. Bien qu'éveillé, Nod, l'une des petites créatures des mondes souterrains rêvassant, comme à son habitude, dont le vif désir est de prouver l'existence de ce peuple venu des dunes arides, se remémore, soudain, un cauchemar inénarrable.  

Palefroi, narguant Nod : Une fois que ces briseurs de rêves aient traversé ce passage voûté, s'alourdissant sous leurs pas, en faisant de l'ombre aux dragons chérissant la terre reine, la terre des rêves s'effondrera !

Nod : Qui sauvera la terre des rêves !? 

Sur ces entrefaites, sur le passage voûté, voûtant deux mondes souterrains, où la brume chassant l'obscurité enrobe merveilleusement des pattes et, étrangement, des pieds, les salamandres, émergeant de l'obscurité, tels des guerriers de sable ceignant un homme preux, conspuent, sans vergogne, leurs meneurs de guerre.  Bien qu'ils avaient, autrefois, ostracisé, de leurs terres, des destructeurs avides de pouvoir, convoitant indéfiniment, avec un but précis, cet être damnable pouvant fendre le coeur du lion, les meneurs de guerre de l'armée de sable décident d'un autre sort pour les salamandres. Tout d'un coup, les langues de deux salamandres, meneurs de guerre, Hyoïde et Hyaloïde, se délient. 

Hyoïde : Le malheur, qui s'était abattu sur nous, est-il, désormais, fini ?  

Hyaloïde : Les dieux se mêlent aux Hommes. Les assassins, se dissimulant derrière les roches, qui éciment les arbres, déplument les oiseaux et écument les cités des hommes, sous l'oeil malveillant du lion, qui trône sur les terres de feu et les mondes enrochés, convoitent celui qui est le garde du petit sceau.     

The eager Belfry and Palefry in remotedly staring at the unexpected coming of the salamanders, in the gorge of this underworld, inside which the voracious dionaeas that are suddenly livening up, are climbing to the vaulted pathway, in dwarfing this trodden pathway, are totally subjugated by this rare and revigorating spectacle, are not tolling, as usual, the knell bell. Thenceforth, Belfry and Palefry, that did not know a such situation, inside of this gorge of the underworld, sojourned in this stony bed, that is a source of happiness. Unfortunately, the sudden call of the darkness, full of new potentialities and new dangers, are sorely profiled, are resonating as a madden chorus in the heads of these small creatures of the underworlds. While the darkness is dawning in this underworld, the wide opened eyes of Belfry and Palefry, that are languishing, are succesfully silhouetting, sudden, these misforturne sliders of the underworlds. The looks of the other small creatures of the underworld are telling a lot. While he is awakened, Nod, one of the small creatures of the underworlds dreaming, as usual, of which the eagerness is of proving the existence of this people coming from the arid sandbanks, is suddenly remembering an unspeakable nightmare.   

Palefry, playing trick with Nod : Once, the dream crushers have crossed through this vaulted pathway weighing under their heavy footsteps, in overshadowing these dragons cherishing the kingfield, the land of nod will be fading away ! 

Nod : Who will save the land of nod ?!

Between-times, on the vaulted pathway, encompassing both underworlds, where the fog impelling the darkness is wondrously shrouding forefeet and, oddly, feet, the salamanders, coming from the darkness, as sand warriors surrounding a valliant man, are profusely disputing their warlords. Altough they had octracized, in the old past, the destroyers with a lust for power, in coveting endlessly, with a precise goal, this damnable being, that can melt the heart of the lion, the warlords of the sand army are deciding of another tide for the salamanders. All of a sudden, the tongues of both salamanders, warleaders, Hyod and Hyaloid, are loosening.    

Hyod : Is the plague, that had striken down us, over, from the times forth ?    

Hyaloid :  The gods come to the men. The assassins, dissimulating behind the rocks, that are pollarding the trees, are burning the feathers of the birds and destroying the cities of the mankind, under the bedeviled eye of the lion, that thrones over the fire lands and the enrocked worlds, are seeking for the one who is the lord privy seal.
